Printing technology and materials
NOTE:
This method is typically used for products with a high cotton content, such as T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, etc. Our clothing designs are created using a variety of methods. Many of our products are printed using the digital printing process. With this printing process, the ink is first sprayed directly onto the garment and then absorbed into the fabric. It's like printing on paper, but on clothing. We use Kornit printers, which produce almost no wastewater and consume less energy than standard printers, reducing our environmental footprint. The inks we use are Oeko-Tex™ certified, vegan, water-based, and free of harmful chemicals. Loco Banana takes sustainability seriously. Therefore, we ensure that leftover ink is properly disposed of according to the ink supplier's guidelines. Embroidery Information: At [your shop name], we embroider our products with Oeko-Tex™ certified threads, meaning they are suitable for both adult and children's clothing. Compared to digital printing, embroidery lasts longer and produces less waste.
Product packaging
NOTE:
This information applies to our internal production facilities. Clothing products manufactured in our partner factories may be packaged differently. At Loco Banana, all clothing products are packaged in PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic packaging. The PCR content in the packaging depends on where your order is printed, but it is always at least 50% for the outer (white or gray) poly mailer bags and at least 30% for the inner (clear) bags used for shipments containing multiple items. PCR packaging is made from everyday items such as used plastic bags and bottles. This material protects your order just as well as regular plastic bags. However, choosing PCR instead of first-use plastics reduces the environmental impact of plastic on our planet.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that you either dispose of the packaging properly or reuse it.
